The Nigeria-Kazakhstan Business Council (NKBC) is a Federal Government supported private sector led initiative to promote and foster economic and business relationships between Nigeria and Kazakhstan.

Our Mission is to promote and build a vibrant trade, investment and business relationships between Nigeria and Kazakhstan by creating platforms for dialogue, networking, and collaboration. We are developing mutual understanding, cooperation and innovative ideas and solutions to challenges the two countries face in today's global marketplace.

Chairman, NKBC

His Imperial Majesty Ọba Adéyeyè Enitan Ògúnwùsì, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, is an astute global leader, cultural ambassador, and visionary entrepreneur with a strong track record of fostering international partnerships and driving socio-economic development. As the Chairman of the Nigerian-Kazakhstan Business Council, he brings a unique blend of royal diplomacy, economic foresight, and a passion for strategic alliances. His leadership in this role is focused on unlocking new economic corridors between Nigeria and Kazakhstan, fostering bilateral trade, innovation, and investment in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, mining, and infrastructure. Globally respected for his peace-building missions and engagements with world institutions, the Ooni leverages his influence to bridge cultures and economies. Through platforms like the Ooni of Ife Global Outreach (OIGO), he has consistently demonstrated commitment to building sustainable partnerships and promoting African excellence on the world stage. His vision for the Council is clear: to strengthen economic diplomacy, promote mutual prosperity, and position Nigeria and Kazakhstan as strategic partners in global development.

Adeniyi Adesoji Kehinde

Executive Secretary, NKBC

Adeniyi Adesoji Kehinde is a seasoned business administrator and investment consultant with decades of professional experience spanning finance, international trade and business development. His expertise spans credit & marketing, developed a strong foundation in business analytics, international trade and project development. This is further solidified by his experience in notable sectors of the economy playing key roles in driving growth and development. He is a Board Member representing Africa on the Advisory Board of Islamic International Food Processors Association (IFPA) in association with the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) under the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC). He possesses an impressive ability to effectively communicate, organize and lead teams and instrumental in advancing organizational objectives. He holds a degree in Business Administration and participated in professional courses to enhance professionalism. He is fluent in both English and Yoruba with deep knowledge of the Nigerian economy and understanding of international trade. His hobbies include jokes, mentoring and meeting new people, which reflect in his continuous pursuit of knowledge and passion for international collaborations.

Prince Chinweuba Innocent Okonkwo

Executive Member, NKBC

Prince Chinweuba Innocent Okonkwo (Chinese name: Ma Zhiming) is a dynamic global leader with deep roots in international diplomacy, youth empowerment, and cross-continental trade relations. A Nigerian national with extensive academic and professional experience in China, he holds a double bachelor's degree and a master's degree from top institutions including Shanghai Jiaotong University, Peking University, and Hebei Normal University. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Belt and Road Africa Economic Promotion Initiative, Outreach Officer at the Consulate General of Nigeria in Shanghai, and Chairman of the African Youth Innovation Support Association. In recognition of his impactful work, he was appointed as an "Entrepreneur Mentor" by the SCO Youth Innovation International Incubator in 2021. As an Executive Member of the Nigeria-Kazakhstan Business Council, Prince Okonkwo brings a wealth of international experience, particularly in China-Africa economic relations, and is committed to fostering innovation, strategic partnerships, and sustainable trade between Nigeria and Kazakhstan.

Michael Abiola Olorode

Executive Member, NKBC

Michael Abiola Olorode, FIMC, CMC, ACIPM, PHD (in view) is a distinguished economist, tech enthusiast, and agripreneur whose multifaceted expertise spans business analytics, data strategy, Cybersecurity and executive leadership. As the Executive Director of Corporate Strategy at Cyberpedia Internet Governance, a leading cybersecurity and data governance company, he plays a pivotal role in shaping strategic direction. He is also the co-founder of SaoliPay Nigeria Limited, a cutting-edge fintech firm revolutionizing international trade payments, and the Founder & Chairman of Nutrient Life Group, a conglomerate focused on agro-allied industries. Michael began his academic journey at Olabisi Onabanjo University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics, which laid the groundwork for his professional achievements. He further pursued an MBA from the Rome Business School in Italy and earned a professional degree in Advanced Data Analytics from New Horizons Institute, a global leader in ICT education based in the United States. Currently, he is nearing the completion of his PhD in Economics at Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria, which enhances his depth of knowledge in economic theory and policy. In addition to his academic credentials, Michael holds numerous professional certifications. These include qualifications in Business Management & Organization from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), USA, and he is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) as well as a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (ACIPM), showcasing his commitment to continuous professional development. In recognition of his outstanding leadership and advocacy on the global stage, he was appointed as Nigeria’s Youth Ambassador in 2019 by the Friendship Ambassador Foundation Inc., based in Greenwich, Connecticut. This role reflects his dedication to international engagement, having collaborated with global organizations such as the United Nations Department of Global Communication, ECOSOC, and UNESCO Consultative Forum. Michael Olorode is a visionary leader who blends academic rigor with a practical approach to business innovation and Technological solutions. With his extensive experience across diverse industries—ranging from economics to technology—he exemplifies strategic thinking, entrepreneurial success, and a commitment to driving positive global change.

Olusegun Ipoola Oyewale, Esq.

Legal Adviser, NKBC

Olusegun Ipoola Oyewale, Esq., is a distinguished legal practitioner, educator, and advocate for justice with over a decade of experience in both legal practice and academia. A graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, he holds a combined honours BA.Ed. in History/Education and an LL.B in Law, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2011. His legal career spans key practice areas such as banking, property, labour, environmental, human rights, and criminal law, including significant experience in election petitions. Having worked with reputable law firms like C.M.C. Onuoha & Co. and Marcus Abu & Associates, he went on to establish his own legal outfit, O.I.B Oyewale & Co., where he serves as Principal Partner and Head of Chambers. In addition to litigation and legal consultancy, he serves as Solicitor and Company Secretary to several firms across Nigeria, offering strategic legal guidance and corporate governance support. As the Legal Head of the Nigeria-Kazakhstan Business Council, Mr. Oyewale brings a wealth of legal insight and governance acumen. His role supports the Council’s mission of fostering secure and structured economic relationships between Nigeria and Kazakhstan, while ensuring compliance, transparency, and justice in all business engagements. He is the founder of the Society for Justice and Peace, an organization dedicated to advocacy, social justice, and community development since his college days. His deep-rooted values in peace, equity, and development make him a vital asset to the Council’s leadership.
